I just filed my Income Taxes and will receive an Earned Income Credit. I receive SSI for my disabled child and they told me I had to report any income I receive. Does this include EIC payments? If so, will this reduce the amount of SSI I get for my disabled child?
This is the first year I filed my income taxes and claimed my new home I bought last year. Due to the mortgage interest and property tax deductions, I am receiving a significantly higher tax refund than ever before. Could this cause the IRS to audit me?
I’m trying to decide if it is worthwhile to take a local course to prepare income taxes just during tax season. Thanks
I’m looking to incorporate my company in nevis so that I can keep my assets for the company private. While I live in Pennsylvania, my company is run completely online so I don’t have a physical business operating presence in pennsylvania. What type of tax ramifications do I need to look out for. Note: I will pay income taxes on the money that I transfer - it just wouldn’t be the corporate taxes. Thanks!
I already filed my federal income tax online on the government website. How do I go about filing my state and local income taxes online for free?
I went to https://pa.direct.file.state.pa.us (I am in PA) and it says "personal income tax" Is personal income tax the same as state and local tax or is it just state tax?
Someone please help me, so confused
Currently there are no federal tax laws that support responsible single parents who do not have full custody of their childeren. Which ever parent has them the most out of the year can claim all of them. I don’t see how this can be fair. If child support is paid, the parent paying it pays the income taxes on it and it is included in their income. The parent recieving the support does not show it as income nor do they have to pay taxes on it. I dont understand why responsible single parents who are in their kids lives and are supporting them financially can not utilize a deduction at all. So I guess my question is… What is the route a person has to take in order to change the current tax laws to show some equality and recognition for those of us showing responsibility with their parental duties?
Can someone garnish my taxes, other than the IRS???

Due to the loss of employment I’ve had to withdraw funds from my IRA. I know I will have to pay income taxes on the amount I received. However, I would like to request the 10% early withdrawal penalty be forgiven due to financial hardship. Is there a form or letter template I could utilize when submitting my tax paperwork to the IRS?
I just finish filling out my income taxes. The software says I have a credit of ,747. Should I enter my deductions any way? Or should I save my time? Please help.
Remember I do not own taxes; I even have a tax credit.
Thank you.
