Should I hire an accountant to help me with taxes?

I’m a college sophomore. I currently have a scholarship, an on campus job and I received a stipend from my summer internship for this past summer. I’m guessing I have to pay taxes, but I’m not sure if I should spend the money to hire an accountant or if I should just figure it out on my own. Is an accountant or an accounting service worth the money?

call the irs 800 number first and ask them
they will go through a fromula for you.
if you are under $7500 as a single person, you may not even have to file.
but check with them.,
My mother died las Jan. and talk ed them on jan 4 about all the filing status. they told me no tax, no file and just send a copy of the death certificate. … give it a try.
