How much tax in taken out of your paycheck in NY?

I just wanted to know how much tax in taken out of a paycheck in NY. If I make 0.00 every two weeks. How much tax will it be taken out, without any benefits. I just want to know to see if I can afford paying rent every month.

You can find out that information by going to http://www.tax.state.ny.us for the NYS personal income tax rates.
You can also use Publication 15 to determine your federal withholding.
Also, deduct another 7.65% for social security taxes.
Assuming that you claim Single with no exemptions, your federal taxes would be $96.55, Social Security taxes would be $64.26. I’m not sure about your taxes for New York because I don’t know if you live in NYC or not.
FICA is approximately 11% and federal income tax 10% total of 21% if you only check one exemption.
