My tax state return report should have been for Resident, but I inadvertidely sent it with non-resident form. What should I do?
My tax state return report should have been for Resident, but I inadvertidely sent it with non-resident form. The amendments are for specific forms, but there’s none for changing forms from non-resident to resident. What should I do?

You should file an amended return. The instructions should be in the return booklet.
Why don’t you call that state’s individual tax office? If you received a booklet from that state, read over the sections to find more information regarding use of wrong form.
My guess is you need to file an amended return. For example Rhode Island has a 1040X for those who need to file an amendment.
