I recieved a letter in the mail from the State of NJ stating that I owed the NJ Motor Vehicle Commission ,555.02. I have not resided in NJ since 1994 (14 years ago) and have been lisenced in California since. I did some research on the njsurcharge.com site and found that they can charge NJ drivers 0 times 3 years for having more than 6 points on their license, and if unpaid can result in penalties. I will get an attorney on Monday, but does anyone have any sound legal advise?

I have a business and want to make sure everything is in tact for the IRS. I came up with the idea of hiring a Accountant for a couple weeks to straighten out my book keeping and statements. I propose that if the same answer is posted in response to more than 10 questions in one hour and is reported as spam, then there should be a tax paid by the persons who posted that answer. In Feb. I was convicted of a DWI in Mt. Laurel, NJ after blowing a .13 on the Alcotest, which has recently ruled reliable. My attorney put a "stay" on my conviction until the Alcotest ruling came out. Does anyone know how the courts will go about handling the large backflow of people who have DWI’s??
